HEX

‘Hex’ was his DJ name, and his wife wanted to remind him of fun in his life.
This ‘bling-bling’ was such a thoughtful, kind gift.

I took the logo design from an image of his tattoo, and she added her own drawings, and hand writing for the back. This was a different sort of project for me.
And the resolution and concept so warmed the cockles of my heart!

Often, I refer to my work sort of like a tattoo, as far as bringing meaning and imagery to be made permanent – however much less painful! I love that this piece went in the other direction.
